Zoken Joyeros

Exotic jewelry made from wood, natural gemstones, and silver from Colombia

Zōken was created in the late 90's when John Fredy Escobar, current designer and founding partner, began developing his innovative jewelry pieces, using materials such as wood, silver, and natural gemstones. His proposal was somewhat irreverent for the conservative jewelry tradition and was the origin of new horizons in the market. He joined Patricia Ochoa R., a business manager, Marcela Giraldo, an industrial engineer and Juan Felipe Ochoa R., an aeronautical engineer, to form a team that made arts and a crafts into a company. In 2010 and 2011 they developed two new lines: Threads and Wayuu, inspired by the Colombian indigenous artisans, cultures very rich in design, quality and innovation.
