Bohemian Love

Bohemian Love For the Wayuu indigenous community from the colombian Guajira, knitting is the purest form of expression. This ancient activity shows all the creativity, intelligence and wisdom that the Wayuu tribe embrace as the essence of life. Bohemian Love now shares this threads of love at Flechada.

Each Wayuu "mochila" is magical, unique and has its own heart. During 12 to 20 days the Wayuu women spend every effort to create a story for each bag. Bohemian Love respects the origin of the Wayuu "mochilas" and adorns them with beautiful leathers, stones and accessories.

The colors, designs and complexity of the techniques used in the elaboration of the "mochilas" make each piece a work of art. Its geometric shapes symbolize the elements of mother earth that surrounds them, like animals, plants, stars, among others. The more complex the shapes, more rich is the piece.
