Ankora was founded in 2009 by jewelry designer and certified gemologist Anilu Rios from Venezuela. Based in Miami, Ankora’s jewelry designs are motivated by the modern woman’s philosophy that jewelry can be transitional, made with the intent to be worn from daytime casual to nighttime chic.

Having lived in top fashion capitols such as New York, Madrid, and Miami, Anilu finds inspirations through her travels, the art that surrounds her, and the colors that bring vision to life. With a balanced style and an eye for sophistication and aesthetic comfort, her designs are first sketched, then sent from Ankora’s home office in Miami to Colombia and Brazil, where there they are skillfully crafted into beautiful accessories.
